With NFL Week 11 action already underway after the New England Patriots took down the Atlanta Falcons, it is now time to sit back, relax and get ready for a full day of football. Whether your team plays on Sunday, Monday, or is on their bye this week…all NFL fans know that Sunday is a day for football, snacks, and a general lack of leaving the couch. But, before you can do that, you probably want to put in a bet or two…right? Of course, you do–that is why you are reading this article, to get some NFL betting advice!

To start, when reading the “line” that we have, the number with the “plus or minus” next to it is the “spread.” Which is the number you need to add or subtract from your team's total in order to get the win. So, if you are picking a team -6, that means they would need to win by seven for you to win.

The number to the right of the spread is the “vig,” which is the fee that you pay to the casino to make the bet. If the vig is -110, then the better can make $1 off of every $1.10 he wins. All of our odds are brought to you by FanDuel SportsBooks. So, without further adieu, here are my week 11 NFL best bets to make, including one bet from each of the three Sunday timeslots.

Week 11: Best NFL Bets To Make ASAP

Detroit: +12.5 (-112) @ Cleveland

This one has our stamp of approval as the JB Lock Of The Week

Coming off of a tie last week against a Pittsburgh Steelers team that was “featuring” Mason Rudolph at quarterback, the Detroit Lions do not seem like the obvious candidate to throw your proverbial weight around. After all, they haven't even won a single game yet in 2021. While I am not projecting them to necessarily come away with the victory, I'm for sure banking on them to cover the +12.5 point spread against a Cleveland Browns team that couldn't stop the run if their lives depended on it.

Detroit may not have many things on offense, but they do have a solid running game. They are due to get Jamall Williams back this week as well, so expect a similar game plan as last week when the Lions ran the ball over 40 times. That might be one advantage the Lions have that they must take advantage of. So far on the season, the Lions also have a slight advantage when it comes to winning against the spread (ATS). Detroit is 5-4 this year ATS and Cleveland sits one game behind at 5-5. Bet Detroit plus the points and thank me later.

Cincinnati: -1 (-110) @ Las Vegas

Neither of these teams can afford to lose this game, fall to 5-5 and become mired in a three-game losing streak that will bring countless questions until its ending. With both teams coming off of two straight losses, it comes down to who do you trust more to get the victory? Some may trust the more veteran quarterback in Derek Carr to lead his team away from the dreaded three-game losing streak. But, I am thinking differently here as I truly believe the Cincinnati Bengals are more than a point better than the Las Vegas Raiders.

The only reason this game is -1 instead of -4 is that the game is in Las Vegas– somewhere the Raiders have actually lost two of their last three games.  If there is no true home-field advantage and the ATS numbers are identical: Cincinnati and Las Vegas are both 5-4 ATS, then you have to go back to point one and that is to go with the better team.

Pittsburgh: +6 (-112) @ Los Angeles Chargers

With quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and wide receiver Chase Claypool due back to the team this week, the Steelers are coming in healthy–kind of. They will still be without multiple starters including All-Pro safety Minkah Fitzpatrick. Still, this Chargers team has looked lackluster in the past month, both in games they have won and in games that they have lost. Expecting them to beat a veteran Steelers team by more than six points on national television is a big ask for this young team.

While the ATS numbers look a lot better for the Chargers this year (5-4 vs 3-6 for Pittsburgh,) the spread is simply too much to pass up. If you want to parlay all three of these together, a $10 bet would net you $57 on FanDuel. If you're not a big parlay person, just take them all individually and reap the benefits that way.
