The Miami Dolphins fell to the New England Patriots on Sunday. That's not exactly shocking. However, Jarvis Landry being all hot and bothered about head coach Adam Gase not challenging a play is a bit of a story.
With the Dolphins down late and needing to convert on a third-and-forever, a ball was hurled toward the general direction of Jarvis Landry. It was ruled incomplete. After the game, Landry discussed how he believed he caught the ball and wished that Adam Gase would have tossed the replay flag.

You know, we didn’t have anything to lose. We’re giving the ball up on our side of the field. Something that could potentially turn in our favor. Who knows? We didn’t have anything to lose. We should have just threw the flag.”
For what it is worth, at least as it appeared on replay, Landry didn't actually catch the ball. Miami would have likely lost the appeal.
At the same time, Landry does bring up a solid point. Why not force the refs to give it another look? It isn't like the Dolphins had anything else to lose at that point.
Nevertheless, Miami has not exactly been world-beaters this season. While Landry might be mad at Gase today, as long as they patch things up quickly, none of this anger will matter.
