The Philadelphia Eagles are riding an all-time high of emotions after the team won it's first Super Bowl on Sunday night over the New England Patriots.

This type of excitement has continued for quarterback Carson Wentz off the field as he has proposed and became engaged to his girlfriend Madison Osberg.

Although he saw his season end in mid-December, he played a big part in helping the Eagles to the playoffs to have a chance to win their first Super Bowl. Backup Nick Foles followed it up by putting together his most impressive stretch of games in the playoffs to get the job done that was capped by a Super Bowl 52 MVP performance.

Wentz, now, has another thing to check off the list with his marriage that could come in the coming months over the offseason ahead of the 2018 campaign. It may be a bit of a minor detail, but the photos from his social media post about the engagement announcement do give some encouraging signs for his rehab from a torn ACL and LCL as he was able to kneel down on his knee.

The 25-year-old has been on track in his recovery process as he has voiced much optimism about being ready to go by the 2918 season opener. The injury that he suffered is one that typically takes about nine months to a year to fully recover from. This current track would usually place him prior to that date, but if he continues to make progress without any setbacks there would no reason to be he can't reach that personal goal.

In any event, the engagement is a huge personal moment for Carson Wentz to take another major step in his life off the field.
