Philadelphia Eagles right tackle Lane Johnson made a bold claim prior to the 2017 NFL season. Johnson guaranteed beer for “everybody” in Philadelphia should the Eagles win it all. The time has now come to pay the piper following the Eagles' 41-33 victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII.

Johnson is now prepared to follow through on that promise thanks to a sponsor from Bud Light for their championship parade on Thursday, according to Charles Curtis of For The Win:

The Eagles have emerged victorious in Super Bowl LII, and we will celebrate with Philadelphia fans in taverns along “Victory Lane.”

On the day of the parade, we invite all fans 21+ to join us in raising the Kingdom’s favorite light lager in celebration of the big win. Look for Bud Light reps at multiple taverns along the parade route where we will buy fans one Bud Light. Congrats, Philadelphia! And please enjoy responsibly! Philly Philly!

It is unlikely that Eagles fans have taken a break from celebrating their upset victory. However, they may want to rest up for Johnson's lager-fueled tour through the streets of Philadelphia on Thursday.

Johnson is now the second player to make due on his promise after wide receiver Alshon Jeffery guaranteed that ‘we' would win the Super Bowl next year following his tumultuous 2016 NFL season with the Chicago Bears. The only one left is defensive end Chris Long, who essentially promised that he would get linebackers coach Ken Flajole's mug tattooed on his body.
