It was 58 years in the making. For that reason alone, we'll have to cut all those in Philadelphia a break. Bradley Cooper was losing his mind. Kevin Hart was drinking a little too much and running into security. Rocky Balboa has made a comeback. And, of course, Philadelphians everywhere were losing their minds on the streets of Philly.

It's now starting to come around.

The 76ers are 25-25 while currently holding down the eighth seed in the East and the Eagles have officially captured their first Super Bowl and first NFL championship since the 1960 team that handed Vince Lombardi his only playoff defeat.

Of course, Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles and the Eagles defeated Tom Brady and the New England Patriots by the final of 41-33 on Sunday night. They did it in a way that was all-too-similar to the two New York Giants upsets over Bill Belichick's bunch. Other than the offensive bonanza we witnessed, it was the Eagles standard four-man pass rush that ultimately made the difference. The constant pressure on Brady all night and Brandon Graham's strip-sack of Brady late in the game ultimately made the difference.

Other than the Giants, Patriots, Dallas Cowboys, and Washington Redskins, we feel great for you Philly. Let's just hope that car owner has insurance that covers “rioting Eagles fan destruction.”
