Jaxson Dart believes Week 15 is evidence that he is being treated differently by league officials. The New York Giants quarterback was briefly removed late in their loss to the Washington Commanders due to another concussion evaluation, which he feels was unwarranted.

The play in question came near the goal line in the second half when Dart's run was stopped for a no gain. He fell under a pile of players and was subsequently removed for a concussion evaluation and replaced by Jameis Winston.

Dart claims he felt no pain or discomfort during the play and is “not really sure” why he had to leave the game.

“I didn't want to make a bad play worse by forcing the ball, so I just tried to get back to the line of scrimmage,” Dart said, via SNY TV. “I'm not really sure what the reason was that I had to come out of the game. It was just really weird. I don't understand it.”

Dart added that he feels there is an additional element of “sensitivity” with him compared to other quarterbacks. He has made the comparison before, claiming he does not take any more hits than players like Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes or Josh Allen.

Winston took the field for two plays, which resulted in -2 yards. Dart returned before the end of the drive, which resulted in a turnover on downs inside the Commanders' five-yard line.

Dart has already missed two games due to a concussion and is one of the league's most scrutinized players due to his reckless play style. He has now been evaluated for a concussion in five of his 10 games, according to ESPN's Jordan Raanan.

Despite the constant worry, Dart insists he will not change his play style to please others. However, Giants interim head coach Mike Kafka has stated he is intentionally calling fewer designed quarterback run plays.
