Future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers will lead his Green Bay Packers into the “Windy City” to take on the arch-rival Chicago Bears come Thursday evening.

With this tandem of NFC North foes officially kicking off the 2019-20 regular season this week, Rodgers already has some serious confidence in his team's chances to take down the always dangerous Bears.

“Now we're throwing new things at them with personnel groupings and motions and alignments and movement and adjustments that they haven't seen from us,” Rodgers recently told ESPN. “So I'm excited for the opportunity. I'm obviously really hopeful that we're going to go out and play really well, but I do really feel like this is just the beginning for this offense, and there'll be a lot of room to grow regardless of our performance on Thursday. Which, for myself and our squad, I expect us to play really well. But I think there's going to be a lot of room for growth within the scheme as we go on in the season.”

Last season, the Bears notably won the NFC North division en route to reaching the playoffs with Rodgers and company being forced to watch from home.

However, this season could be very different as the trio of the Packers, Bears and Minnesota Vikings all have a legitimate shot at reaching the postseason in 2019. Even though the Detroit Lions aren't primed to truly compete against the rest of the division, this certainly won't be an easy out for the aforementioned trio.
