Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw a game-ending interception from just inside the 3-yard line against the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday night, putting an end to the Packers' undefeated start to the season.

According to Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com, it marked the first time Rodgers threw a pick from the 3-yard line or closer in his entire NFL career. Prior to that fateful pass, Rodgers had thrown 64 touchdowns with no interceptions in those situations.

Ironically enough, Rodgers had his best performance of the season thus far, completing 34 of his 53 passes for 422 yards, a couple of touchdowns and that pick.

On the year overall, he has thrown for 1,069 yards, six touchdowns, and one interception while registering a completion percentage of 62.3 percent and a passer rating of 95.4.

Much had been made about the Packers' slow start offensively over the first three games of the season, as Rodgers failed to log 250 yards in any of those contests.

While Green Bay's offense finally began to show signs of life on Thursday, it still failed to score 30 points, equaling its season-high of 27. Not only that, but the Packers may have lost wide receiver Davante Adams, as he suffered a toe injury in the fourth quarter of Thursday evening's loss.

Rodgers is coming off of a 2018 campaign in which he finished with 4,442 yards, 25 touchdowns, and just two picks while completing 62.3 percent of his throws and recording a passer rating of 97.6, but faced heavy criticism for his leadership and for missing more throws than usual.

Green Bay is now 3-1 and will head on the road to battle the Dallas Cowboys next Sunday.
