Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is 35 years old and is entering his 15th NFL season, but in a league where quarterbacks play into their 40s, Rodgers still seems like a young pup.
Article Continues BelowAs for the possibility of Rodgers pulling a Tom Brady or a Drew Brees (or even a Josh McCown) and playing into his 40s himself? He isn't sure about it just yet, but is not ruling out the possibility:
Rodgers doesn't turn 36 until December, so he'll spend most of the 2019 campaign at 35. Does he have five years left in the tank? It remains to be seen.
The Chico, Ca. native is coming off of a 2018 campaign in which he threw for 4,442 yards, 25 touchdowns and a couple of interceptions while completing 62.3 percent of his passes and posting a passer rating of 97.6, en route to a Pro Bowl appearance.
Still, in spite of his impressive numbers, Rodgers was criticized for missing more throws than usual and for his lack of leadership, which some feel played a significant role in the Packers' disappointing 6-9-1 finish.
Green Bay has missed the playoffs each of the last two seasons, marking the first time that has happened since 2006.
