The Green Bay Packers saw their undefeated start to the season come to an end on Thursday night, as they fell to the Philadelphia Eagles by a score of 34-27 in their Week 4 matchup.
The Packers jumped out to a 10-0 lead, but that edge quickly evaporated, as the Eagles took a one-point advantage into halftime and would never relinquish the lead.
It marked the first time in Aaron Rodgers' career that he had lost a home game after being up by double digits, as he is now 58-1-1 in those situations, according to ESPN Stats & Info.
Only New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who won 80 straight games with those circumstances from 2011 through 2015, had a longer streak than Rodgers.
Thursday night's loss also happened to represent the best individual performance of the season for Rodgers thus far, as he completed 34 of his 53 passes for 422 yards and a couple of touchdowns. However, he threw a game-ending interception on 2nd-and-goal with the Packers trying to rally for the tying score. It was his first pick of the year.
On the season overall, Rodgers has thrown for 1,069 yards, six touchdowns and that interception while completing 62.3 percent of his passes and posting a passer rating of 95.4.
It has not been a typical year for Rodgers thus far, as the veteran signal-caller still appears to be trying to get used to Matt LaFleur's system. Also, at 35 years old going on 36, it's entirely possible that Rodgers has lost a step.
The Packers dropped to 3-1 with the defeat and will head on the road to take on the Dallas Cowboys next Sunday.
