Aaron Rodgers cuts a consistent figure for the Green Bay Packers and the entire NFL. He has been in the league for so long that some younger football fans couldn't possibly imagine the league without him in it.
One of the reasons for his longevity in the league is his knack for throwing the perfect pass regardless of platform or pass rush. He helped make the Packers transform into a strong outfit that makes playoff runs on a consistent basis.
Coming off a relatively down season, the 35-year-old is expected to bounce back with a big year in 2019. Case in point: BetOnline placing him third in MVP odds at 12/1, as noted by Jon Machota of The Athletic.

Alongside Rodgers are a bunch of familiar names who have enjoyed a similar amount of longevity. Drew Brees, Philip Rivers, and Tom Brady have terrified secondaries for the better part of two decades. Needless to say, you can expect them to be doing so again throughout this season.
Meanwhile, it's notable that there are three young quarterbacks with great odds to win the award as well. Patrick Mahomes is the leading player to win MVP, which comes as no surprise after he won the award last season as a first-year starter. The other two favorites are the Philadelphia Eagles' Carson Wentz and Cleveland Browns' Baker Mayfield, two young signal-callers poised to compete with Mahomes for MVPs for years to come.
However, Green Bay fans will continue to believe in Rodgers. He certainly hasn't let them down with his play over the course of his career, and Packers faithful will surely return the favor by lobbying for him as the league's MVP.
