The Green Bay Packers are currently taking on the Detroit Lions in a Week 18 game that doesn't mean much to them. They have already secured the number one seed and this game will not change anything in terms of playoff seedings.

Green Bay has decided to play some of their starters and that was great news for Davante Adams. Adams has now broken the single-season receiving yards record for the Packers with 1,535. He breaks Jordy Nelson's franchise record.

It is questionable that the Packers are deciding to play some of their starters, but it is likely that they only decided to play Adams so he could break this record. Now with him breaking this record, it would make sense if Green Bay does decide to take out the starters sometime soon. There is no reason to risk an injury as they head towards the playoffs and since this game doesn't even help them in any sort of way, there's really no reason to have them on the field.

This isn't the only achievement that Adams is looking to have this season as Green Bay is certainly going to look to win a Super Bowl title and they are definitely one of the favorites.

They have had a history of not playing as well in the playoffs as they do in the regular season and that's something that Green Bay is going to look to change this season. It's certainly possible because they have looked like one of the best teams in football this season.
