The Adams move was reported on Thursday and he practiced after being cleared for football activities.
“It's great to see those guys,” Green Bay head coach Matt LaFleur said Thursday. “They were fired up to be back. It's a huge benefit to this team.”
However, his status for Sunday remained up in the air until he was officially put back on the active roster.
Adams and WR Allen Lazard tested positive for the coronavirus early last week, causing them to miss Green Bay's Thursday night win over the Arizona Cardinals. Both receivers will be available vs. Kansas City, and fellow wideout Marquez Valdes-Scantling could return from injured reserve, too.

All this will surely provide assistance for QB Jordan Love, who will be making his first career NFL start following the COVID diagnosis of Aaron Rodgers.
Adams has racked up 52 catches, 744 yards, and three touchdowns this season — all leading the Packers. Despite missing Week 8, he still ranks third in the NFL in receptions and fourth in yards. Adams is on pace to easily surpass the Packers' single-season receiving yards record (Jordy Nelson's 1,519 from 2014.)
Adjust your fantasy lineups accordingly.
