Josh McDaniels has been a hot name in the NFL rumor mill over the last week or two. He has become the front-runner to be offered the Green Bay Packers' head coaching job, while also turning down an interview request from the Cincinnati Bengals. That has led many to believe that he is down to two options this offseason.
According to Kelly Price of NBC26, McDaniels will likely either accept the Packers' head coaching offer if they make one to him or remain with the New England Patriots as their offensive coordinator.

It would seem likely that McDaniels would accept the offer to coach the Packers. He has stated that he would like another head coaching opportunity in the NFL, but was waiting on the right situation.

He had reportedly accepted the offer and a press conference had been scheduled, but he changed his mind last second and ended up remaining in New England.
Green Bay would give McDaniels the opportunity to work with one of the best quarterbacks to ever play in the NFL. Aaron Rodgers needs a better system to play in and McDaniels has been extremely successful in New England as the offensive coordinator.
McDaniels will interview with the Packers on Friday. New England is about to begin their playoff run, but it is likely that reports will come out of Green Bay that will clue fans in on just how the interview went and if there is interest from both sides in getting a deal done.
Expect to hear more news come out about McDaniels and his future in the coming days.
