The Jacksonville Jaguars have a lot of problems to sort out on defense as they head to London to face the Philadelphia Eagles. And now, they have a couple more problems to worry about after cornerbacks A.J. Bouye and Tyler Patmon did not make the trip across the pond due to injury, per Michael DiRocco of ESPN.

With D.J. Hayden also unlikely to play after missing the past month with a toe injury, the Jaguars will now be without three of their top four cornerbacks, with All-Pro Jalen Ramsey the last one left standing. Rookies Quenton Meeks and Tre Herndon will now have to see a lot of playing time against the defending Super Bowl champions.

These new injuries to their corners are just about the last things the struggling Jaguars defense needed right now. They’ve lost three games in a row and four of their last five as they’ve dropped to just 3-4 on the season. A loss to the Eagles on Saturday would be another huge blow to their playoff hopes.

The loss of Bouye, in particular, will be huge. The 27-year-old was a second-team All-Pro selection in his first season in Jacksonville last season and is once again having a strong campaign this year.

With the Eagles struggling to run the ball effectively in recent weeks, they will likely look to pass a good deal against the Jaguars. But with a couple of inexperienced rookies playing alongside Ramsey, their chances of slowing down Carson Wentz figure to get significantly tougher.
