The Jacksonville Jaguars are up against the New York Jets in what will be an interesting matchup. The Jaguars get additional reinforcement for their offense as Dede Westbrook is set to continue playing in Week 8.
It was unsure whether the wide receiver will be able to play due to the knocks on his neck and shoulder. However, Adam Schefter reports that he should be able to suit up and receive passes from eclectic-but-electric quarterback Gardner Minshew.
Jaguars’ WR Dede Westbrook, listed as questionable for Sunday with shoulder and neck injuries, is expected to play vs Jets, per source.

The 26-year-old wideout has been boosting his value in the Jaguars locker room ever since being drafted in the fourth round of the 2017 draft. Last season, he played all 16 games but only started nine of those games. He completed 717 receiving yards and five touchdowns after making 66 receptions.
He's had a mixed bag of performances this season. His Week 7 performance was outstanding as he finished with 103 receiving yards on six catches. However, There have been four games where he finished with fewer than 60 catching yards. Westbrook's performance can only improve from this point on, but it definitely left a lot to be desired from fans who expected better performances from him.
He will likely get throws after his impressive Week 7 outing. It will be up to him to replicate his performance and make himself a more consistent option on the attack.
