It is no secret that the Jacksonville Jaguars have quite the quarterback conundrum on their hands. However, head coach Doug Marrone is not ready to pin all their struggles on their lackluster play under center.
The Jaguars have not had much to hang their hat on in the 2018 NFL season. According to Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk, Marrone feels quarterback is not the only area they need to improve:

But at the same sense, it’s hard for me as a coach to control the message of what’s going on outside. It’s not just that one position. It’s everyone and it’s all of us as coaches.”
There is certainly plenty of truth to Marrone's comments. Jacksonville has not played particularly well in any phase of the game. Their struggles on offense have been well-documented over the years so it should come as no surprise that they are having problems once again. However, the fact that their defense has played so poorly this year is a tremendous cause for concern.
The Jaguars essentially returned all their starters from last season which included a bevy of Pro Bowl talent. Although they are doing a tremendous job of limiting the total yards by opposing offense, they simply cannot keep them out of the end zone after giving up an average of 30 points per game over the last three weeks. Even All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey admitted that this group has struggled to find its footing and now things have seemingly started to reach a boiling point after rumors surfaced about a heated argument in the locker room following their loss to the Houston Texans.
Regardless, it is clear the Jaguars has a long way to go before expecting to compete in the playoffs. Unfortunately, things do not get any easier this week when they square off against the Philadelphia Eagles.
