The Jacksonville Jaguars just recently captured the team's first win of the 2019-20 regular season with a Thursday evening win over the rival Tennessee Titans. However, the back-and-forth between the AFC South franchise and All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey continues to take centerstage in Jacksonville.

After requesting a trade away from Jacksonville prior to the team's Week 3 matchup against the aforementioned Titans, Ramsey still played against Tennessee and remains on the Jaguars current roster at this very moment. Nonetheless, the circus continued into the early portion of this week as Ramsey has remained away from the team due to illness — which is reportedly the flu.

According to a recent report from Josina Anderson of ESPN, though, Ramsey will be making his return to the Jaguars team facility on Wednesday.

Leading to Ramsey's initial trade request, he and Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone were seen getting into it on the sideline in Week 2 as the team lost to the Houston Texans. While the Jaguars still have some time before this year's trade deadline, it appears as though Jacksonville will wait it out until the right deal comes together.

“Some disrespectful things were said on their end that made me definitely walk out and call my agent as soon as I walked out,” Ramsey said just last week, via CBS Sports. “I said, ‘It's time. My time is up here in Jacksonville.' I said, ‘I want to ask for a trade.'”

Ramsey and the 1-2 Jaguars will now begin to prepare for the team's upcoming Week 4 matchup against the 0-3 Denver Broncos.
