There has been much talk about an NFL team coming to London permanently and although this probably doesn't have much of an effect on that it would make sense if a team moves to one day also host a Super Bowl.
When regular season games are played in London, it's a huge spectacle with fans from all over England and the world coming to watch the American version of football. Since the international series has started the sport has continued to grow, with the Jaguars being one of the most popular teams overseas. They are the team to play every year in England so it isn't much of a surprise they have a following.
With Khan owning Wembley Stadium it also should make life easier in terms of the NFL for scheduling these games. They can work directly with Khan instead of having to go through the previous owners.
