Raiders Week 14 Predictions

4. Raiders defense locks down the Chiefs run game

This franchise has taken multiple hits this year with off-the-field issues, but the Raiders are still in the mix. They'll need to focus and do everything possible to slow down the Chiefs, which is much easier said than done. One way to win the game will be to attack Patrick Mahomes at will.

To do that, Maxx Crosby will need to get back to playing at a high level. He's been quiet in recent weeks, but he's still considered as one of the most dangerous pass rushers in the game. If the Raiders can bother Mahomes and force him to make bad throws, their chances of winning increase drastically.

3. Darren Waller plays and registers 70+ yards and 1 touchdown

It's been a frustrating season for Darren Waller, but he's still a superstar talent. He is currently dealing with an injury and it's not clear whether he is playing or not. However, he's listed as questionable, which bodes well for his chances. If he plays, the Raiders must get him going early and often, as Waller can be the difference-maker in this game.

2. Josh Jacobs continues his hot streak with 100+ yards and 2 touchdowns

After working through injuries, Josh Jacobs has been on fire the last two games. This is the exact type of production the Raiders need moving forward. With Kenyan Drake out of the rotation, the bulk of the workload rests on Jacobs' shoulders.

The Raiders should highly consider running the ball often against the Chiefs. It will allow them to control the clock, tire out the defense, and keep the ball out of Patrick Mahomes' hands. It will also set up the play-action, which could create big scoring opportunities for Las Vegas. Look for Josh Jacobs to play a major role for his team on Sunday.

1. Derek Carr gets the job done and leads Las Vegas to a win

It's do-or-die time for the Raiders right now as they're currently 6-6 on the season. Another loss could be the nail in the coffin for this franchise. Derek Carr has shown his leadership skills this year and has proven himself as the quarterback this team needs. However, it's time for him to translate that onto the field.

He has decent pass options with Darren Waller, Hunter Renfrow, and Bryan Edwards and the offensive line has been decent in pass protection. It'll be interesting to see how this matchup plays out, but this is a game Carr must step up and deliver for his team.
