The Green Bay Packers' offseason is currently all about Aaron Rodgers. The future of their next biggest star in wide receiver Davante Adams seems very closely tied to the outcome of their negotiations with the Packers QB.

But Adams isn't just sitting around idly while things go in motion. The Packers wideout made a big-time purchase even before he puts pen to paper on a new deal, reportedly snapping up a $12 million real estate purchase in Las Vegas.

While the Packers star could simply be making an investment or just really loves spending time in Las Vegas, it certainly doesn't hurt the Raiders' chances when it comes courting the All-Pro receiver.

Davante Adams also has ties to Raiders quarterback Derek Carr as the two were a lethal combination together at Fresno State. Carr even openly spoke about recruiting him before the start of last season.

“Davante, he's one of my best friends,” Carr said on recruiting the Packers WR, via Pro Football Talk. “I'm gonna offer him whatever I gotta offer. I'll buy him a car, whatever I've got to do I'll offer that man. I know he would fit in great with the receivers we have here. He would fit so well in that room. I'm allowed to say those things. Our organization isn't, but I'm going to say it. He's my best friend, I think he's one of the best — he's the best receiver in the NFL.”

The Packers obviously want to keep both their star QB in Aaron Rodgers and WR in Davante Adams. But if a divorce becomes imminent, the Raiders are sitting pretty to make a move.
