The Oakland Raiders seem to be the frontrunners to trade for Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown, and that surely has to delight Raiders quarterback Derek Carr, who is coming off of a rough 2018 campaign.

Carr told Anthony Galaviz of The Fresno Bee that he would welcome Brown.

“I would imagine he’s definitely in play,” Carr said. “I hope he’s in play. It would be great to add a guy like that to your team, talent like that. I don’t know what it’s going to cost. The contract stuff starts getting in the way and they got to figure out numbers and all that kind of stuff. I don’t really like the business side of football. but I just like adding good players to our football team. If it works out in the business side, I know the locker room will be arms wide open to accepting Antonio.”

But as for which all-time receiver Carr would most like to play with? That would be former Raiders wide out Randy Moss.

“Randy Moss. He’s in a league of his own,” said Carr. “I think in any era he’s played in, he’s the best receiver of all time. He plays in Jerry Rice era, he’s the best ever.”

While Carr will obviously never get the chance to throw to Moss, Brown might be his next-best available option right now, and it very well may come to pass.

The Raiders own three first-round draft picks they can offer the Steelers in a trade, and they have $72 million in cap room to absorb Brown.
