Conley will be checked by team doctors immediately. Head coach Jon Gruden will be able to know within the next couple of days how long he will be playing without his star defender.
It will be a great loss for the Raiders if they will play without Conley for a couple of weeks. He is already one of the best defenders in the NFL, and the stats show his elite status.
He allowed a 59% deserved catch rate. He has played so well that QBs threw his way just 42 times last season. He is one of the team's pillars on defense.
It's also unfortunate for Conley that he may miss a couple of games; he has been approaching games eagerly.
“I feel like I made great strides,” Conley said, per NBC Sports' Josh Schrock. “But I can always make greater strides and I’m always looking to get better and there’s always money out there left on the field. So I just got to get better every time I can.”
The team will miss his production if he does miss some playing time. The fans can only hope that his injury isn't too serious.
