The Las Vegas Raiders have had a busy offseason filling the notable voids on their roster while completing the relocation amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Fortunately, it seems head coach Jon Gruden is rather optimistic about this team's prospects in the 2020 NFL season.

Gruden has admittedly been just excited as any to usher in a new era at Allegiant Stadium. According to Heavy.com, Gruden is confident that his team is poised for a resurgence next season in Las Vegas:

“You don’t want to go anywhere else for primetime,” Gruden said. “I’m surprised they’re not all primetime when we play in Vegas. It’s the best stadium, we’re gonna have the best fans and we’re in the process of putting together a heck of a football team.”

Gruden's comments indicate that he is confident in the efforts they have put in to improve the team this offseason. As a result, expectations seem to be as high as ever heading into the 2020 campaign.

The Raiders made a number of splashes in free agency that started with an emphasis on the linebackers corps in Cory Littleton and Nick Kwiatkoski. They also made sure to bring in some notable additions to the offense in quarterback Marcus Mariota, tight end Jason Witten, and wide receiver Nelson Agholor. Of course, all eyes will be on wide receiver Henry Ruggs after they took him with the 12th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

There is no question that Las Vegas was adamant about kicking things off in style in their new home. The onus will ultimately fall on Gruden to make it come to fruition.
