Monday Night Football is back, and it didn't disappoint thanks to the Las Vegas Raiders and Baltimore Ravens putting up a spectacular showdown. In fact, even the vacationing folks from the NBA couldn't contain their delight after watching the game.
LeBron James, Damian Lillard and Zach LaVine were just a few of the NBA stars who tuned in and watched the contest, and they certainly didn't regret it.
While the game seemed to be headed to a boring outcome after the Ravens went ahead 17-10 in the first three quarters, the Raiders came alive in the final frame to stage a 17-10 run to tie the game and force overtime. In OT, it was all Las Vegas as Derek Carr completed their comeback with a 31-yard touchdown pass to Zay Jones.
Lillard, who is a known Raiders fan, let out a huge sigh of relief after the victory. LaVine was also ecstatic to see Las Vegas fight hard for the W.

For his part, James focused on Lamar Jackson and how he took responsibility for the loss. The veteran QB played well and even had a big moment in the fourth quarter, during which he staged a huge 28-yard run that allowed the Ravens to score a field goal and take the 27-24 lead with less than two minutes remaining.
Lamar said “That’s On Me”. Accountability. Love it!

It was undoubtedly one of the most memorable finishes in recent memory, so it's not surprising to see other athletes get hyped about it in the aftermath. Considering it's also the first Monday Night Football of the 2021 season, it surely couldn't get any better start than that.
