The Oakland Raiders have fallen to their eighth loss in their first nine games after suffering an embarrassing 20-6 defeat at home against the Los Angeles Chargers.

It has put another damper on their season that has progressively gotten worse as the season has rolled along with their performance continuing to head south. This has led to yet another telling sign that things are heading south in a hurry after one Raiders player telling another of his teammates that he needed to get out of there, according to Matt Schneidman of The Mercury News.

It would be no use to speculate why specifically Carr was upset because we don’t know. It seemed to be something bigger than just losing another game. What we do know, however, is one Raiders veteran walked past three reporters as he left the locker room and said to another veteran, “I gotta get the (expletive) outta here,” before exiting the double doors to the bowels of the Coliseum.

In the first year under head coach Jon Gruden, things have quickly become what appears to be a toxic situation for the Raiders. There has already been three notable departures from the roster with with All-Pro defensive end Khalil Mack, former Pro Bowl wide receiver Amari Cooper, and defensive Bruce Irvin.

This along with the team continuing to struggle on the field has given off the notion that it has become an undesirable place to play under Gruden. There has been more dysfunction around the team while their performance on the field has only mounted that feeling.

Oakland has now been pitted into a spot of having to trek through the rest of the season with the playoff squarely out of the picture with hopes on reconfiguring the roster in the offseason that could help turn things around. Until then, there could be more situations like this ahead in the 2018 campaign.
