Jon Gruden's first season back with the Oakland Raiders didn't go as planned. The team struggled all year long and finished just 4-12 and in last place in the AFC West. After the season was over, the Raiders still weren't sure where they were going to play in 2019.

The team is set to move to Las Vegas for the 2020 season and needed a place to play this year. After a lot of drama and rumors about various cities they might play in, they reached a deal to return to Oakland for one more year. This will definitively be the team's final season in Oakland, which means it will be an emotional one.

The Raiders mean a ton to the community, and the fans will be devastated when they leave. This is going to be a goodbye tour of sorts, but unfortunately, the general public won't be able to see the team practice this summer. As Scott Bair of NBC Sports reports, only season ticket holders and their guests can attend training camp practices by invite only.

The Raiders will begin their camp on July 27th and close up shop on August 19th. This is a pivotal season, not just for Gruden but for the team as a whole. Derek Carr needs to prove he can be the team's franchise quarterback, as management still doesn't seem completely sold on him.

While fans won't get to see every training camp practice live, that doesn't mean we'll be starved for Raiders content. Oakland is going to appear on this upcoming season of HBO's hit series ‘Hard Knocks,' so everyone will be able to stay up to date on what's going on inside the facility.
