The Las Vegas Raiders might be planning to shake things up at wide receiver. Steelers WR Juju Smith-Schuster has emerged as a name the squad might be interested in, according to NFL analyst John Clayton.
Smith-Schuster would join a Raiders receiving corps that features Henry Ruggs III, who showed some promise coming off his rookie season, and Hunter Renfrow, who provided reliable numbers as a supporting option for QB Derek Carr.

Last season, the Raiders got the most out of 27-year-old Nelson Agholor. The six-year pro had himself a resurgent season, posting career-high numbers in yardage (896) and first downs (37) while tying his touchdown best with eight trips to the end zone. Definitely not bad for a veteran who just signed a one-year deal to serve as a complimentary piece.

But Juju Smith-Schuster comes with his own risks as well. The receiver has had his fair share of off-field kerfuffles, particularly when he would dance on opposing teams' logos during away games. He didn't do himself any favors after infamously ripping the Browns right before they got thrashed in a memorable playoff tilt.
On the field, Smith-Schuster is coming off a solid season – 831 total yards, 9 touchdowns and a 75.8% catch rate. However, the enigmatic receiver is entering his fifth year and hasn't truly flashed the star potential he displayed during his Pro-Bowl season in 2018. He flexed hard on his defenders for 1426 total yards with 111 catches. But maybe a change of scenery involving some desert sun and a walk along the Las Vegas strip can ignite that spark once again.
