It's no secret that all of Oakland hates Antonio Brown. After all, his release from the Oakland Raiders was one of the messiest breakups we've ever seen in recent memory. And yes, that includes celebrity splits.
The fans understandably didn't take things well with the split. In fact, they are so enraged with what went down that they let their feelings known during the Raiders' season opener against the Denver Broncos.

The chant was simple, direct, and angry. The enraged fans, all donning silver and black, didn't hesitate to let their expletives fly. Of course, it's understandable that the fans who still come to the games will express their anger.
Article Continues BelowRay Ratto of Deadspin told the reason best. He explained that all these fans can do is just shout their anger to the air.
Raiders fans will fight this, of course. They have only the fight, because everything else has been stolen from them. They have only the illusion of what was long ago, and the hope of what could someday be but never is, with the exciting addition of eight round trips to Vegas every year until they get bored.
Raiders fans get the most defensive because they have no defenses left. The object of their love has given them no support whatsoever save the opportunity to tailgate with their friends—and in honesty, that’s not something at which to scoff. Rituals are important. Friends are important. Grilled meats are important. And frankly, the fans deserve more respect than our dismissal. Not enough to change the hellish reality in which they reside, but enough to make them seem like victims rather than targets.
The Raiders will be closing shop and reopening it in Las Vegas. And once that's final, the city would have lost two important teams in just two years.
In all honesty, all they can do is shout. And all everybody else can do is quietly listen.
