In today's world, it seems as if burning jerseys has become a tradition for players who are released or traded from their respective teams. As for Brown, he never even got to suit up in a single game for the Raiders in 2019.
Earlier in the offseason, Oakland surrendered a third and fifth-round pick to acquire Brown from the Pittsburgh Steelers. At the time, it seemed as if the Raiders got a steal for what they getting with Brown but in the end; the Steelers made out like bandits.
Fans in Oakland were ecstatic to get a player of Brown's caliber on the roster. To show their support, they immediately purchased jerseys that displayed ‘Brown' on it in black and silver.

The final act happened when Brown got into an altercation with Raiders GM Mike Mayock earlier this week. As a result of the incident, Oakland decided to release the talented pass-catcher.
In the end, Raiders fans will have to somehow rid of the jersey they once bought before they could even wear it on a game day.
