Danny Woodhead is one of the best pass-catching weapons at the running back position that a quarterback could ask for. With Keenan Allen gone for the season, he was an extra important cog in the Chargers' offense.
Unfortunately, his season will end abruptly today as MRI results revealed a torn ACL for Woodhead on an injury he had suffered this past Sunday.

Melvin Gordon will need to step it up even more so as the Chargers will be without their running back they use in passing downs for the rest of the season. Gordon has stepped it up in the first two games of this season, but he'll need to step it up even greater as the competition continues to increase.
