Chargers Week 12 Predictions

4. Justin Herbert continues his MVP run

Justin Herbert has been able to put up some video game type of numbers all season and he did so again last week against a tough Pittsburgh Steelers team. In Week 11, Justin Herbert went 30-41 with 382 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception.

On the season he is fifth in yards, fourth in touchdowns, and second in QBR.

If the Chargers want a chance to make the playoffs, they're going to have to play some excellent football from here on out as the Kansas City Chiefs look like they are back to their old ways and could possibly run away with the AFC West division.

There's no reason to worry if Justin Herbert is going to play well considering that he has arguably been the best quarterback in football this season. Every game coming up for the Chargers is their biggest game of the year and Justin Herbert realizes that and is going to perform at the highest level he possibly can.

3. Keenan Allen has another crazy game

Keenan Allen in his age 29 season has looked better than he ever has in his career. He has the third-most receptions in the NFL and the eighth-most yards. In Week 11 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, he went off for 112 yards on 13 targets.

Expect him and Justin Herbert to do the same thing this week as Keenan Allen will have another 100-plus yard receiving game.

2. The defense continues its rough patch

There have been times where the defense looks like it can be a serviceable NFL defense. Unfortunately for Los Angeles, that hasn't been many times as they have given up more than 20 points in almost all of their games this season. Their defense gave up 37 points in Week 11 to a very average Pittsburgh Steelers offense.

If the Chargers want a chance to win a Super Bowl, they're going to need their defense to play much better than they have so far this season.

The Broncos arguably have a better offense than the Steelers do and that's going to cause issues for this Chargers team. They're going to have to rely heavily on their offense to make something happen.

Teddy Bridgewater at this point in his career is a lot better than Ben Roethlisberger and it's going to be tough for the Chargers to contain Bridgewater on Sunday.

1. Chargers win by a touchdown

This is going to be another bloodbath game like the Chargers saw against the Steelers.

The Chargers are going to win this game 34-27. It's going to take a lot out of Justin Herbert to get Los Angeles another Victory but he's going to help his defense out and find a way to win this ball game.
