Domata Peko isn't ready to hang up his cleats. TMZ Sports recently caught up with the free agent defensive lineman, and Peko revealed he wants to keep playing. Peko said he feels like he still has a couple of years left in him, and that he'd like to play in Los Angeles since he's a Whittier native.

Peko said he would like to play for either the Chargers or Rams, but he sounded more enthused about the prospect of playing for the Rams.

“I would like to be with Aaron Donald, man,” Peko said. “Hell yeah! That would be dope.”

The cameraman then asked Peko to deliver a message for Rams coach Sean McVay, and Peko immediately jumped into his elevator pitch.

“Coach McVay! Your boy, Domata Peko, here, ready to go. I would love to come out here, represent L.A. and try to pursue that championship,” he said.

Peko also revealed that he had a visit with the Detroit Lions last week, but obviously, he didn't sign. The longtime veteran said he's in no rush to sign, and that he's currently just enjoying the time off to be with his family.

Peko spent the first 11 years of his career with the Bengals and blossomed into one of the league's better run-stuffing defensive tackles. He signed with the Broncos in 2017 and started 30 games in Denver the past two years.

Peko is 34 now, but he still appears to have plenty left in the tank. He received very solid marks from Pro Football Focus last year, grading out as their 39th-best defensive lineman. Peko could also fill a potential need for the Rams, as they lost fellow run-stuffer Ndamukong Suh in free agency. Maybe this will spur them to give him a call.
