The Los Angeles Rams endured a bitter defeat to their NFC West rival Seattle Seahawks in Week 5. Some neutral fans and pundits are probably questioning the team's ability to return to the Super Bowl this season with their shaky defending.

However, Aaron Donald is not jumping on the panic button just yet. In fact, he's keeping calm about the entire situation. He thinks the Rams still have what it takes to come out on top of the NFC West.

He believes that there's still enough time for the Rams defense to fix whatever issues they have. With the division title still on the cards, he's confident they can make a comeback and finish as NFC West winners.

“It’s still early in the season. That’s nothing to panic about,” Donald said, via Pro Football Talk. “There’s a lot more football left. All you can do is watch the film, learn, try to fix the things you did wrong and build up the things you did good and keep playing ball.”

Donald keeps his faith in their defense in spite of losing two heartbreaking games within the span of seven days. Their first loss of the season came at the hand of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when the defense wasn't able to stop Jameis Winston from doing what he wants in the pocket.

Donald himself has been a bit underwhelming after five weeks of football. He's made 13 tackles and only converted one sack. This came after his fourth straight All-Pro season where he notched 20.5 tackles.

They have to bounce back against the San Francisco 49ers if they want to keep competing for the NFC West summit. Because if they lose, maybe it's time for the team to start sweating bullets.
