New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees is good at not getting sacked. Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald is good at getting sacks. When Donald doesn't get to Brees or comes up just short in Sunday's matchup between last year's NFC finalists, he knows what the reaction of the Saints quarterback will be.

“He doesn’t say nothing. He turns around and winks his eye at me when he gets the ball out, but that’s about it though,” said Donald, via Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times

Brees and Donald have gotten to know each other well over the past year. In 2018, Brees' Saints beat Donald in the regular season, 45-35. Donald didn't get to Brees in that game. Then, the two met each other again in the NFC Championship. Donald, again, didn't get to Brees but got the last laugh after his team won — in large part due to a particular no-call defensive pass interference.

Brees has immense respect for Aaron Donald, a back-to-back Defensive Player of the Year.

“I don’t even have names for all the moves he can do to get to the quarterback. You cannot block him with one guy,” he said, per Mike Triplett of ESPN. “He’s such an impact player, he can change a game. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen anybody like him.”

A rematch between one of the NFL's most prominent game-wreckers and one of its best quarterbacks is set for Sunday, at 4:25 ET p.m. in Los Angeles. However, Brees vs. Donald won't be the only storyline worth watching in the game.
