Following the Dallas Cowboys made the decision to move on from star wide receiver Dez Bryant, it has put him on the open market for the first time in his career. This has given him the opportunity to filter through his options to find the best fit for him in the next chapter of his career.

Bryant has initially voiced the desire to remain in the NFC East to be able to face the Cowboys twice a year, but that seemingly looks to be out of the picture. With that in mind, one of the teams that Bryant has become quite intrigued by is the Los Angeles Rams as he recently praised Jared Goff, Todd Gurley and recently acquired wide receiver Brandin Cooks, according to Mike Fisher of CBS 247 Sports.

LOS ANGELES RAMS – Bryant is very specific here. Loves the city. Loves the direction of the team. “The QB (Jared Goff) is going to be special and (Todd Gurley) is a beast,” he says. “(Newly-acquired Brandin) Cooks is a good deep threat. That'd be fun.”

And of course, most players like L.A.

These comments come just a couple days after Gurley had made a public pitch to Bryant to join him in Los Angeles in an interview with TMZ. There is a unique connection between the two Pro Bowlers with each being represented by Roc Nation.

That said, the Rams currently do not have the financial flexibility to add Bryant to the mix with just over $3.8 million salary cap space. This would require the team to move players via a trade in order to get anywhere near having the necessary money to acquire the 29-year-old.

At the same time, Los Angeles has several players to work out new long-term deals with such namely star defensive tackle Aaron Donald along with Cooks, cornerback Marcus Peters and safety Lamarcus Joyner just to name a few. There is also the looming contract extension for both Goff and Gurley over the next couple of years.

The possible addition would be another huge splash move for the Rams to what's been an already impressive offseason, but it looks like the front office doesn't have space or ability to bring him aboard in the capacity that would be desired. Simply put, it is a long shot at this point that Bryant will be playing for Los Angeles next season.
