The Los Angeles Rams off to a blazing start out of the gate to the 2018 season being one of the two undefeated teams left in the league heading into Week 5.

Much of this has been behind their stellar play offensively that has seen them become arguably the top producing offense in the league. At that same notion, Pro Bowl quarterback Jared Goff decided to point out that the offensive line's play is a huge part of that as he believes they are the best unit in the NFL right now, according to Rich Hammond of The Orange County Register.

“They're playing the best in the league right now and I don't think it's really close,” Goff said, via Rich Hammond of the Orange County Register. “I don't know what the numbers are, but I've hit the ground maybe three or four times. I mean even just hits, pressures, not even sacks. That stuff is incredible, and they're doing a great job.”

It is a difficult point to argue at this juncture with the offense being among the highest producing units behind the stellar production of Goff along with Todd Gurley, Brandin Cooks, Cooper Kupp, and Robert Woods. There has been the driving force of the team that has overshadowed the strong play of the offensive line on a weekly basis that has allowed for their stars to shine and produce at a high level.

In fact, the Rams have continued to provide Goff with plenty of time to make plays as the team is tied for the fewest sacks allowed (five) this season through the first four games played. This has opened up for the offense to be a consistent problem for opposing teams that have contributed greatly to their strong start.

This is something that Goff has a clear understanding of the offensive line's importance to their long-term success and will continue to be as the 2018 season rolls along.
