Wolford suffered an apparent neck injury in the first half of the playoff contest against the Seattle Seahawks. He seemed to be injured following a hit to the helmet on a designed scramble with 5:40 left in the first quarter, courtesy of safety Jamal Adams.
Prayers up for John Wolford who was just taken away in an ambulance 🙏

Per Thiry, the Rams said John Wolford was escorted to the hospital as a precautionary measure.
The Wake Forest alum was making his second career start after subbing in for L.A.'s Week 17 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.
Incumbent starter QB Jared Goff, who missed the regular-season finale, was listed as the emergency QB due to a surgically-repaired broken thumb. He was forced to enter the game after Wolford's injury, with backup QB Blake Bortlers is on the inactive list.
Wolford completed 22 of 38 passes for 231 yards and one interception in his team's 18-7 win over Arizona last Sunday. He also ran for 56 yards on eight carries.
Before prematurely exiting his first career playoff start, Wolford completed three of six passes for 29 yards. He led the Rams to a field goal early in the first quarter.
For what it's worth, Goff had surgery on his throwing hand on Dec. 28. He was a limited participant at practice this week.
Moreover, the Rams possibly faced another blow when defensive tackle Aaron Donald seemed to suffer a rib injury and came off the field late in the third quarter.
