Los Angeles Rams superstar defensive tackle Aaron Donald is questionable to return to the NFC Wild Card Game against the Seattle Seahawks, due to a rib injury suffered in the third quarter of Saturday's game in Seattle.

Following the play he suffered the injury on, Donald made his way to the locker room to get checked on by the medical staff. However, he would return to the sideline after a defensive series by the Rams, only for him to head back to the locker room when Los Angeles got a stop on defense.

Donald sustained the injury for the Rams after chasing down and attempting to sack Russell Wilson late in the third quarter. While wrapping Wilson up, the Pro Bowl quarterback's leg would hit Donald in the ribs, causing him to grimace in pain.

Of course, it goes without saying that Donald missing any time could be detrimental for the Rams in the fourth quarter. Donald is the best defensive player in the NFL and led Los Angeles with 13.5 sacks. It was his fifth double-digit sack season in his first seven seasons in the league.

Given the circumstances of the game, Donald may force himself to return at some point. With that being said, the Seahawks may try to take advantage of Donald not being at one-hundred percent for the rest of the game.

The Rams and their defense have led the way, limiting Russell Wilson to just seven completions through nearly three full quarters. Los Angeles leads 23-13 early in the four quarter thanks to a pick-six against Wilson and the sputtering Seahawks offense.

The Rams and Seahawks are fighting for the right to be the only NFC West team to make the NFC Divisional Playoff round next weekend. The Rams, should they win, would play a road game regardless of the other NFC wild card results this weekend. The Seahawks were down 10 points in the fourth quarter last week against the 49ers and will need another 10-point comeback this week against Los Angeles.
