The Los Angeles Rams have officially clinched the NFC West after their 30-16 victory over the Detroit Lions.

Sean McVay's team moved to 11-1 on the season with the win in the Motor City, which gave them the division title with four games still to go in the regular season. The Rams have now won back-to-back division champions for the first time since 1979.

It marks the second-straight trip to the playoffs for the Rams, who advanced to the Wild Card round last season before falling 26-13 to the Atlanta Falcons.

It was a typical high-scoring performance for Los Angeles in the victory against Detroit, as Todd Gurley and company overwhelmed the Lions' defense from start to finish. Gurley finished with 23 carries for 132 yards while grabbing three receptions for 33 yards.

Starting quarterback Jared Goff completed 17 of 33 pass attempts for 207 yards and a touchdown but did throw his first interception since Nov. 4 against the New Orleans Saints.

The Rams will now try to continue their quest towards securing home-field advantage in the playoffs, with the Saints currently not far behind at 10-2 on the season.

New Orleans will look to rebound from its Week 13 loss to the Dallas Cowboys when it returns to the field next Sunday for a showdown with the Tampa Bay Bucs.

Los Angeles' remaining schedule will feature road games at Chicago and Arizona, as well as home games against Philadelphia and San Francisco.
