The Los Angeles Rams have “no idea” how running back Todd Gurley's knee will hold up Week 1, according to Fox's Jay Glazer, via DraftSharks' Jared Smola. Glazer notes that the Rams are “going in blind” to today's game against the Carolina Panthers.
In the offseason, Gurley was diagnosed with arthritis in his left knee — a concerning injury for a “bell-cow” back. The injury stems from one suffered Week 1 of the 2018 season against the Oakland Raiders that flared up late into the season, forcing him to miss two games of regular season ball and take fewer snaps in the playoffs.
However, Rams head coach Sean McVay says his knee is fine, as noted on Thursday, via USA Today's Cameron DaSilva:

He’s been one of the best all-purpose backs, based on his production and what he’s done for us over the last couple of years. We’ve got two guys in Malcolm Brown and Darrell Henderson Jr. that we feel really confident about, being able to spell him. But what we do as far as activating different personnel groups and things like that — those are things that we will see on Sunday.”
Though Gurley is “feeling good,” according to McVay, the concerns persist.
In the playoffs, Gurley slowed down significantly after coming back from injury. Week 1 of the 2019 regular season will be his first test not only to see where he's at, but also prove critics wrong.
Luckily, he's a full-go for the game, even if Los Angeles is going in blind.
