Matthew Stafford couldn't hold back his delight after helping the Los Angeles Rams punch their ticket to the Super Bowl on Sunday.
The Rams took down the 49ers in a tightly contested NFC title game, which saw LA trail by 10 points at the end of the third quarter before staging a huge comeback in the fourth. Stafford went toe-to-toe with Jimmy Garoppolo and came out the victor, finishing with two touchdowns and one interception on 31-of-45 pass completion for 337 yards.
Naturally after the victory, Stafford was extra hyped for himself and the rest of the Rams.

In the locker room, [we said] ‘there's no way we're not gonna win this damn game. Our guys put their mind to it, came out here and did it. [I'm] so proud of this group,” Matthew Stafford said right in his postgame interview, via FOX Sports NFL.
The Rams scored 13 points in the final quarter and made sure the 49ers didn't find the end zone or the post to ensure their comeback win at home. With the way they played, it's hard to blame Stafford for being so hyped over the victory.
It is also a great revenge for the Rams, who lost to the 49ers in Week 18. While another strong San Francisco contingent showed up at SoFi Stadium, Stafford and co. learned from the last time and didn't let it bother them at all.
Now, they are heading to the Super Bowl on February 13 where they will face the Cincinnati Bengals. Even better? They will be playing at home.
