The Los Angeles Rams have been dominant throughout the 2018 season, currently holding the best record in the NFL heading into Week 14 action at 11-1.

This has featured star defensive tackle Aaron Donald elevating his game to the next level by putting together a career-best campaign. With that in mind, Pro Football Focus has released some impressive statistics that only speak to the utter dominance Donald has displayed on the field:

The 27-year-old has developed into arguably the best defensive player in the league behind his continued dominant play. He is currently leading the league with 16.5 sacks while registering multiple sacks six times this year. His impact goes far beyond his production, as he has become an even greater game-changing talent on the defensive line who continues to disrupt game plans despite constantly drawing double-teams and even triple-teams at times this season.

What has been more impressive is Donald has been able to follow that up with timely plays during the course of games that have tilted the momentum into the Rams' favor. This has been the case in the last two games, including a pair of strip-sacks against the Kansas City Chiefs, with one being returned for a touchdown that provided an extra lift in the contest.

Meanwhile, Donald had another strip-sack this past Sunday against the Detroit Lions in the fourth quarter of a tightly contested game with his team leading 16-13 midway through the period. This allowed the Rams to capitalize on the turnover with a rushing touchdown by star running back Todd Gurley to put the game out of reach.

Simply put, Aaron Donald has been a huge part of the Rams' success on the field, and he looks to be well on his way to earning yet another Defensive Player of the Year award.
