Although the Los Angeles Rams have just won the Super Bowl, head coach Sean McVay is already busy at work. It seems McVay has found a replacement for offensive coordinator after losing Kevin O'Connell in the offseason. O'Connell took the head coaching job for the Minnesota Vikings, leaving LA in a tough spot. However, this franchise has found their guy.
According to Albert Breer, the Rams hired Liam Coen to be their new offensive coordinator. LA is back in business and has put together another stellar coaching staff for next season. Kevin O'Connell did a great job for this franchise, but with him coaching the Vikings now, Sean McVay reeled in another young coach with a ton of potential.

This is Liam Coen's second stint with the Rams, as he was a part of Sean McVay's coaching staff in 2018 and 2019 as a wide receiver coach. After serving as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the University of Kentucky, McVay brings him back to LA.
It's a rather smart hire for the Rams, as they bring in a coach who is already familiar with the offensive scheme. Liam Coen already has a history working alongside McVay, which means Los Angeles' offense should remain elite next year. The familiarity goes a long way, especially for a team hoping to repeat for another Super Bowl appearance.
Look for the Rams to remain extremely competitive. Although there are numerous rumors of superstars retiring, LA should be in good hands moving forward. It'll be interesting to see how the rest of the offseason plays out, as Los Angeles has a chance to stack the roster even more.
