Every player who will feature in next week’s Super Bowl 56 has his own unique way of preparing for the biggest game of the season. For Los Angeles Rams wideout Odell Beckham Jr., he is channeling his inner Bill Belichick for the clash with the Cincinnati Bengals.

“Without trying to downplay it, I understand it's the Super Bowl, it's the most important game,” Beckham said during a recent press conference. “It's just about being you and doing your job. Being laser focused on the details and just completing your assignment. Pretty simple if you just put it that way and not try to overthink it.

“There's a reason that we're here, there's a reason they're here. We just got to come out and play our best game.”

Belichick’s famed “Do Your Job” motto has been a resounding message within the New England Patriots organization for the past decade, which simply calls for each player to focus on what he can control during games.

For Beckham, he sure has been doing his job over the past month in the playoffs.

The veteran wideout combined for 19 receptions and 236 receiving yards in the Rams’ trio of playoff wins in the NFC playoffs. He rose to the occasion in the 2022 NFC Championship Game victory over the San Francisco 49ers, as he emerged as a keen target for quarterback Matthew Stafford thanks to the nine receptions for 113 receiving yards recorded in the contest.

The Rams sure will need each and every player on both sides of the ball to do their job next week in order to claim a first Super Bowl win in the Sean McVay era.
