The Miami Dolphins were heavily involved in trade rumors all year until the NFL trade deadline. Many believed Miami would land disgruntled superstar quarterback Deshaun Watson amid his sexual assault allegations. None of the trades went through, but with the offseason quickly approaching, this franchise could get involved with the Houston Texans again for Watson. Tua Tagovailoa responds.

According to Joe Schad, Tua Tagovailoa isn't worried about the trade rumors at all. He seems nonchalant about it, as the young quarterback will aim to improve during the offseason. Whether the Dolphins make a trade for Deshaun Watson or not, they should be sitting in a great place next year.

Tua Tagovailoa showed a ton of improvement throughout this season. He's needed some time to adjust to the professional level, but he's flashed his potential all year. He's far from the problem the Dolphins have faced recently, but if they have a chance to land Watson, the front office would be foolish to pass up that opportunity.

Regardless, Tagovailoa is on pace to turn into a solid starting quarterback in the league. He'll be entering his third season in the NFL next year, which could be his breakout season. Whether he plays for the Dolphins or another franchise, the future is bright for the young quarterback.

The Carolina Panthers were another team rumored to acquire Watson from Houston, so the Dolphins will have some competition.
