The Minnesota Vikings have been in the headlines a lot this year. Most of the time, it has been about issues within the organization. Kirk Cousins was struggling at quarterback. That led to the offense looking terrible. It also led to people being unhappy. Superstar wide receiver Adam Thielen called out Cousins. So did head coach Mike Zimmer.

Then there was superstar wide receiver Stefon Diggs. He didn't show up to practice and got fined. He also didn't deny the rumors that he wasn't happy with his situation.

However, things might be turning back around after a great Week 5 performance. Cousins looked locked in and he connected with Thielen often.

After four weeks, Thielen had just 13 receptions for 179 yards and two touchdowns. In Week 5 alone, he had seven receptions for 130 yards and another two touchdowns.

He was an absolute star last season, now he could be back on track in 2019. With that in mind, what exactly is his fantasy outlook in Week 6?

First thing you have to look at is the opponent. The Vikings square off with the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 6. That's a team Cousins has had a lot of experience against (naturally because he was in the same division as them when he was with the Washington Redskins).

In his career, Cousins has had some big games against the Eagles. He is also starting to click with Thielen obviously. Possibly most important though, the Philadelphia secondary isn't anything to write home about. To be fair though, neither is the New York Giants secondary (Minnesota's Week 5 opponent).

The Eagles don't possess the scariest secondary by any measure. Add in the fact that they'll be down Ronald Darby and Jalen Mills and things get pretty bad for them.

Minnesota also has an advantage of having multiple weapons. Although he hasn't put up big numbers this year, Diggs is still a serious threat. A team would be stupid to not focus on him pretty heavily.

Due to that, teams can't just harass Thielen. They need to focus on both players or will absolutely get burnt by the one of them. That being said, the Eagles don't have the resources to focus on both. They really don't have someone to cover just one of those two players, let alone both.

With Cousins looking the best he has all year in Week 5, things are definitely trending up for the Minnesota offense.

They now face a depleted Philadelphia secondary. A secondary that doesn't have someone to match with Thielen.

It's unfair to ask Thielen to post the same numbers he did in Week 5. In a standard PPR league, that nets a ton of points. 32 points to be exact.

However, you can definitely expect pretty similar stats. Thielen is going to get a ton of looks as he finds himself open all over the field. Don't be surprised if he gets around 10 receptions and 100 yards.

In fact, while it's not fair to expect 32 points from someone, it's not crazy. It wouldn't be all that surprising if he actually put up better numbers this week.

The reasoning for that is pretty simple. Philadelphia's secondary isn't good, and it's injured. Meanwhile, Thielen and Cousins seem to be getting some of that 2018 chemistry back. Thielen wreaked havoc all last year in this offense and he might be getting back into that mode now.

Scary time for all opposing defenses. It's great if you're a Vikings fan or Fantasy Football owner of the wide receiver. You win the lottery if you're both of those things.
