Heading into Week 12 against the Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen has been limited during the week with a calf issue.
However, Thielen has continued to make progress with his recovery that now has him on pace to play this Sunday, according to Tom Pelissero of The NFL Network.
#Vikings WR Adam Thielen, limited this week with calf/low back issues, was on the field for start of practice again today. Good sign for Sunday.

It's an encouraging sign for the Vikings to have to their top receiving option available for Pro Bowl quarterback Kirk Cousins. Thielen is putting together a career-best 85 catches for 1,013 receiving yards and seven touchdowns. He's on pace to record 136 catches for 1,621 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns.
Thielen has been on a hectic pace that saw him notch seven straight games with 100 receiving yards and holds the franchise record for most catches for that stretch.
His presence in the passing game should provide the Vikings with a highly dependable asset against the Packers. There should be plenty of confidence in his play against the Packers from the last time he played them. Thielen put together 12 catches for 131 receiving yards and a touchdown in Week 2 against Green Bay.
Minnesota may look to lean on Thielen as Green Bay has one of the league's best defenses against the pass. They rank fifth in the league in that category and seventh in completion rate (62.5 percent).
If he's unable to play against the Packers, it will thrust Stefon Diggs into being the top option in the passing game. Diggs is on pace to put together a career-best campaign. He has 71 catches for 713 receiving yards and five touchdowns, including four 100 receiving yard performances along with four games with 10 or more receptions.
He is currently on pace to tally 114 receptions for 1,141 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. It would mark his first career 1,000 receiving yard season. Along with being the first time that he totals more than 100 receptions.
