The New England Patriots have dealt with their fair share of drama as of late. At the core of this drama, Tom Brady and Bill Belichick's future hangs in the balance with owner Robert Kraft trying to keep it together until the inevitable parting of the ways in the near future.
With the Patriots drama dominating the headlines over the past few months, Bill Parcells, former head coach of the storied franchise, talked about the issues within the organization. Outside of Belichick and Kraft, few know the inner workings in New England better than Parcells, but he insists all the rumors of team's issues don't mean anything, via Gary Myers of The Athletic.

Having been in a position myself as a head coach, a lot of things are said about an organization, the coaching staff and the owner. Some of the things are just flat out not true. Yet they get out and they get publicized because they make good headlines. The only thing you got to do is watch the product on the field. When the season starts, all this offseason stuff, it doesn’t mean anything. Nothing.”
Ultimately, the Patriots' run of success will come to an end one way or another. It may end in the ugliest way possible with Brady and or Belichick wanting out or one or both men retiring. Either way, the team probably only has a few more years with this core intact.
That being said, Parcells makes a lot of sense in his assessment. As long as the product on the field doesn't change, then there really isn't a problem in New England. However, it remains to be seen how this team will perform after so many changes during the NFL offseason and all the negative press surrounding the organization.
