Former New England Patriots defensive back Patrick Chung was arrested in Quincy, Massachusetts on Monday due to alleged vandalism and domestic violence, according to TMZ Sports.

Details on the incident are unknown at this point, but according to court documents, he was charged with vandalizing property and assault and battery on a household/family member. Chung, who won three Super Bowls with Tom Brady on the Patriots, just retired from the NFL in March after an 11-year career.

Unfortunately, Chung has been in trouble with the police before as well. In 2019, he was arrested for possession of cocaine and was charged, but he avoided jail time after coming to an agreement with prosecutors.

Chung opted out of the 2020 season due to COVID-19 and was actually planning to play this season for the Patriots before abruptly hanging them up following a very tough conversation with Bill Belichick. He actually tweeted on Monday before the scuff-up with police and seemed really happy:

Boy, did things take a turn for the worse just hours later. Chung played for the Patriots from 2009 to 2012 then 2014 to 2019. The former Oregon standout is clearly having some issues after football and let's just hope he can figure them out very soon.
